Aiden Richards and Steve Varney receive their BJJ Blue Belts!

The recent grading at The Combat Lab, saw two new Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Blue Belts awarded to long term students, Aiden Richards and Steve Varney.

Aiden and Steve passed a rigorous 90 minute exam in order to receive their new belts, being tested on the entire white belt syllabus covering all aspects of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

As the first students to receive their Blue Belts following the transition to graded exams, the results have been awesome to see. Both athletes are highly proficient in all the required techniques, having trained at The Combat Lab for several years. For original Lab Rats, Aiden and Steve, the hard work has finally paid off.

Receiving their blue belts from Head Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach and Black Belt, Paul Hines and Submission Grappling Head Coach, Jordan Garnett, the whole of The Combat Lab team can see the example which the boys have set through achieving this milestone in their BJJ Journey.
